What we collect
DeepWorking collects the minimum data needed to provide the service:
- Email address — when you sign in with Google, we store your email to identify your account.
- Focus statistics — daily counts of focus blocks, breaks, pauses, and cancellations. This data is stored in Supabase and linked to your email.
- Streak data — your current and best focus streak (consecutive workdays).
- Settings — theme, character, sound preferences. Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and not sent to our servers.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect browsing history or tab activity.
- We do not track which websites you visit.
- We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to:
- Sync your focus statistics across devices when you are signed in.
- Maintain your streak across sessions.
- Display your historical focus data in the app.
Data storage
Focus statistics are stored in Supabase, a GDPR-compliant cloud database hosted in the EU. Authentication is handled via NextAuth.js with Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password or any Google account data beyond your email address.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Delete — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate data.

Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use of DeepWorking after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
